Idee-Home Return & Refund Policy

At Idee-Home, we want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward return and refund process in accordance with applicable U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. After 30 days, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • The item must be in its original packaging
  • You must have a receipt or proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Items marked as final sale
  • Items that have been assembled and used

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery

How to Initiate a Return

To start your return, please contact us at hello@ideehome.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization.

Large Item Returns (Furniture & Oversized Products)

Due to the size and weight of furniture and oversized items, the return process for these products requires special coordination:

  • Contact us at hello@ideehome.com before shipping any large item back
  • We will arrange return logistics and provide specific packaging instructions
  • Large items must be disassembled (if applicable) and securely packaged to prevent damage during transit
  • A return shipping fee may apply for large items; the exact amount will be communicated before you ship

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. If approved:

  • Your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days
  • The refund will be applied to your original payment method
  • Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again
  2. Contact your credit card company — processing times vary
  3. Contact your bank — there may be additional processing time
  4. If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@ideehome.com

Return Shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product). Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need an exchange, please email us at hello@ideehome.com with photos of the defect or damage.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
